Introduction
The Collection Game on Sorare NBA is a game-changer, adding a strategic layer to the fantasy basketball landscape. By meticulously building Collections of cards based on scarcity, team, and season criteria, managers can gain a competitive edge with a dynamic Collection Score. This score, in turn, translates into scoring bonuses applicable to every player card in the Collection, making every card an integral part of the game.
Collection Rules
Collection Scores are intricately tied to player card attributes. Serial numbers, season editions, and ownership history/duration contribute points to a Collection's overall score. Notably, Collection Scores are exclusive to Pro Cards (Limited, Rare, Super Rare, and Unique), with Common Cards excluded.
Player Card Eligibility
The eligibility of a player card for a Collection is determined by the card's team logo. Even if a player changes teams, their card remains associated with the previous team Collection. New cards minted for a player after a team change contribute to the new team's Collection. Players must have at least one card minted on a team to be counted toward that team's Collection.
Powering Up Your Pro Cards
Collection Score
Every Pro Card in a Collection contributes to a dynamic Collection Score, reflecting the strength of the gallery. Points are accrued based on criteria such as serial number, season edition, and ownership history/duration.
Collection Bonus
The cumulative Collection Score for each Collection becomes pivotal in gameplay. A Collection Bonus is applied based on Collection Score thresholds, enhancing the performance of cards in Game Weeks. For instance, a Pro Card in a Collection with a 450 score will receive a 4 percent scoring bonus each Game Week.
Managers with multiple cards of the same Player/Team/Season/Scarcity will have only the card with the highest Collection Score counted, ensuring that the most valuable cards take center stage.
Accessing Your Collections
All Collections are easily accessible from My Club. The Collection Game promises to transform the Sorare NBA experience, with future enhancements including Collection Leaderboards and a "Rank" feature on Team Collection Cards.
Marketplace Listings Update
With the recent List or Play rollout, it's crucial to note that cards listed on the Marketplace will no longer contribute to a Collection Bonus threshold.
